The Wide Web of Wackos

In theory, the Internet is a great and powerful tool. It provides for a staggering amount of information transfer. It allows people from around the world to communicate and express ideas. But, like anything else, it has its drawbacks. There are far too many people out there who think we care about their particular interests and anecdotes. Sure, it makes for great humor, but come on! Get a damned life!
My favorite net-wackos include:

  • This guy, who seriously has far too much time on his hands. Have a burger, guv!
  • This page might just be the single most annoying thing I've ever seen.
  • Please, someone tell me that you can explain this.
  • Of course, what list of net-wackos would be complete without our good friend, Walter.
  • They're really serious about this.
  • Maybe I'm just missing something, but this just seems like an awful waste of money.
  • This guy isn't necessarily a wacko, but you'd think he would have changed his name. Or something. Heh heh. Actually, this is kinda cool and stuff.
  • It's nice to have heroes and role models, but it's another thing to worship Manson.
