I only listen to stuff that, like, doesn't suck or something. Here's some stuff that rocks. (Incidentally, you can hear all of this stuff on my radio show, The Spirit of Radio.)

  • Rush These are the kings of rock. There is none higher. (Some people actually think I mean that fat windbag Limbaugh!)
  • Dream Theater The new wave of progressive music.
  • Van Halen Yeah, like you don't know who these guys are!
  • Spock's Beard is a new American prog band combining the best of 70's prog elements with 90's songwriting styles. (Mellotrons and melodies! :)
  • Echolyn is a group from Pennsylvania that defies description. You have to hear them to understand them. Better yet - check out their official web page!
  • Echolyn's former keyboardist Chris Buzby has a new band. If you liked echolyn, you'll love Finneus Gauge.
  • Ghostland is, quite possibly, the most exhaustive Web page devoted to progressive rock that I've seen.
There are plenty of solo musicians today that have their own web pages, also. Check out: I am also an avid collector of rare live and studio recordings of my favorite artists.
